10018/E/1 FSC PlantScape Ethernet Communication Module

The 10018/E/1 FSC PlantScape Ethernet Communication Module is designed to provide an Ethernet communication connection between a Fail Safe Control (FSC) system and the PlantScape control environment. Installed in the central part of the FSC system, the module manages Ethernet-based data exchange between the safety control system and the external control network.

The 10018/E/1 incorporates its own processor and memory resources to handle the Ethernet communication interface, reducing the communication workload placed on the FSC central processor. The module uses one isolated Ethernet interface, making it suitable for FSC installations that require a dedicated Ethernet connection to the PlantScape system. The 10018/E/E version provides two Ethernet interfaces, while the 10018/E/1 provides one.

• Single-Interface Configuration - Specifically configured with one Ethernet interface in position A, while position B is left empty. This distinguishes it from the 10018/E/E, which uses two Ethernet interfaces for connection redundancy.
